STAGE 1 - Fixing

Choose between Core Panel or Pre-Mesh Panel and a range of fixings, accessories and PVC edge protection components including trims for window and door reveals

  • INSULCLAD DIRECT FIXED is fixed directly to the wall frame over sarking.
  • INSULCLAD CAVITY SYSTEM is fixed over EPS battens to form a secondary moisture barrier by providing a cavity between the frame and the wall cladding.

You should consult with your architect, builder, or seek advice from your local council before selecting which of the Insulclad systems suits your particular project.

STAGE 2 - Preparation

Prepare the panel for render by applying:

  • Reinforcing Mesh and Base Render provides strength, water resistance and the specially formulated adhesion properties that bonds all three stages of the Insulclad system together. This part of Stage 2 is already completed for you when selecting Pre-Mesh Panel.
  • Joint Patch and Primer Additive when mixed with Base Render will bed in your panel joints on Pre-Mesh Panels and will also prepare your PVC edge protection trims to obtain superior adhesion between PVC and render prior to finish rendering over the entire system.

COARSE FLOAT

Coarse Float

Insulclad Coarse Float Finishing Render is a polymer modified cement based render that is one of the components of the Insulclad exterior insulated rendered wall system. It is designed as a finish coat that offers an attractive subtle granular texture ideally suited to modern construction while maintaining a traditional look. Other textures are available, refer to your supplier for the other finish renders that are available from the Insulclad range.
Insulclad Coarse Float Finishing Render can be used as:

  • As a finish coat render on Insulclad Core Panel polystyrene system when Insulclad Base Render is applied first or
  • As a finish coat render on Insulclad Pre-Mesh Panel polystyrene system.
  • As a finish coat for blue board, Hebel, brick or block work and other masonry substrates.
