Novatex Products has proudly been recognised as a Gold Winner at the prestigious Fairfield City Business Awards, celebrating the company’s long-standing commitment to Australian manufacturing, innovation, and customer service within the construction industry.
The award marks a significant milestone for the Wetherill Park-based manufacturer, which specialises in cement renders, textured coatings, tile adhesives, and associated construction products. Managing Director Gorizio Di Censo said the recognition was a rewarding moment after many years of dedication and hard work.

Mr Di Censo also highlighted the importance of supporting Australian-owned manufacturing businesses at a time when many local factories are operated by multinational corporations. He noted that Novatex Products remains proudly and wholly Australian owned and operated, making it a unique presence within the Wetherill Park manufacturing sector.
“All of our products are developed locally in our laboratory right here in Wetherill Park,” he said. “We take enormous pride in producing high-quality products that are designed specifically for Australian conditions and Australian tradespeople.”
Innovation continues to play a major role in the company’s success. One of Novatex Products’ most recent achievements has been the introduction of a fully recyclable render bag — believed to be an industry first within the sector. The initiative reflects the company’s growing focus on sustainability and environmentally responsible manufacturing practices.

During the awards evening, representatives from all levels of government acknowledged the importance of local manufacturers such as Novatex Products in supporting the region’s economic growth and major infrastructure projects. Attendees included the Mayor of Fairfield City Council, Mr Frank Carbone, State Member of Parliament, Dr David Saliba , and Federal Member Ms Dai Le.
Speakers at the event highlighted several significant capital works projects planned across the region, including the new Fairfield Exhibition Centre and major transport infrastructure upgrades.
